How Php 1 and Php 0.88 differ of Cebu Pacific airlines?
I got a ticket last March for a piso fare that I used when I visited boracay-iloilo from Cebu Pacific. It was a great deal for a dream vacation for my family. And even the airline gave a less if you fly without a luggage. Just this week I got a lesser ticket for 0.88. Is it a great deal? Let’s dissect the fees that make us book this cheap looking ticket:
| 0.88 | 1 |
base fare | 1.76 | 202 |
taxes &fees | | 293.84 |
web admin fee | 160 | 100 |
go lite discount | 150 | -100 |
other taxes | 37.2 | |
ph vat | 63.82 | |
aviation security fee | 30 | |
fuel surcharge | 500 | |
| 942.78 | 495.84 |
On March I got a Php 1 fare with following charges: Base fare 202, taxes and fess 293.84, web admin fee 100 and if you fly without a check in luggage you get a Php 100 less. Is it sweet to get this kind of deal? While early this week I book a ticket for Cebu for another adventure for Php 0.88. and surprisingly it is far more pricey from their Piso fare. What makes the 0.88 fare more pricey is because of more items was added to be paid. It is so bitter if you don’t know what you pay. But honestly it is cheaper than other airlines. Furthermore, this charge must be clearly stated on the start of the booking not on the last part of the billing were you going to pay it.

Miag ao Church Adventure
Since I went to Iloilo two years ago it’s been my passion to visit Miag ao church; because it was been a UNESCO heritage of the world around 1990’s. It is a must to be included to my churches album.
Early morning , we travelled far west of Iloilo from
Molo bus terminal. We opted to take a bus to get a more scenic view to capture during the trip. Arriving to a silent but booming town of Miag ao without a breakfast. We walk down the street in front of the church to find a place to feed us. We find this cute/little carinderia . I chose what they call linaga (pronounce as lina’ga). Only to find out that it was a linagang sinigang. While eating I was wondering what they use to make the soup sour. Till I ask the tindera, and she told me that it was the round fruit in the soup called batuan. It is the common ingredient for their sinigang in Panay Island. It was a great way to take a brunch.
After a sumptuous brunch we went to the brown colored stone church to take a snap. During the ancient time this church was serve as fortress for muslim raiders and destroy multiple times but restored.

A taste of Perri Todd's All American Grilled Burger
One day while bored looking for a place to dine in Iloilo. I ask the person in the front desk if where we can go to eat the best burger in the City. She told me to ride a jeepney JARO LIKO-ILOILO CITY. It pay a seven pesos fare from the city going to the corner of Cuartero st-Sta. Isabel. To a burger restaurant name PERRI TODDS ALL-AMERICAN BURGER. They serve the quarter pounder look burger in the house.
The burger house is located in from of Jaro2 elementary school, where the Jaro Liko- Iloilo route turn after passing Jaro plaza. It is not that big restaurant, but always full of food junky. While ordering (which I always do) I ask the waiter what’s their specialty; According to the waiter aside from quarter pounder like burger (grilled) another best seller is their carbonara which my wife ordered. The carbonara is serve with two toasted bread.
If you were to visit ILOILO or just pass by you must try and taste the mouth watering taste of Perri Todd's grilled burger and their carbonara too.

Its been my first time to respond for a request for a medical team in a convention. I first think on what will I do in this kind of event. I am used to have a hard core action when our serves is in need, like when providing first aid service to students in an athletic event. Or rendering service to ROTC in their tactical evaluation. I even refuse to accept the job. But I have no choice but to take or to take the job. Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers (PACSA) held its first Mindanao congress here in USM. It runs from September 22-24, 2011 after a couple of times of cancellation.
On its first day, different students and advisers arrived in Hostel Pavilion at USM for their registration. Five cotangents confer in this event. The attendees came from Bukidnon State University, Central Mindanao University, Notre Dame of Marvel University, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College, San Pedro College and the host school.
PACSA decided to make a historical event in USM for its very 1st Mindanao congress. The Mindanao advisers’ officer invited four great resource speakers for the breakthrough event in PACSA Mindanao. Eventually, what I think that the medical desk I empty is wrong. On the registration day, Sir Gideon Cabahug the VP for Mindanao of PACSA ask me to take his blood pressure(BP) while setting on my post near the office of hostel. While taking the history he has a maintenance and does not take it unless he feels uncomfortable. And his BP reads 140/100mmHg. I immediately offer him to buy his maintenance because he forget his medication in their room at the hotel (guesthouse). On the second day, after arriving in the venue a student approach me because he got an insect bite after turning on the air condition. To make it safe I brought him in the hospital to be seen by a physician. Later on that day I knew that the first night of the student in USM a student had a stomachache and the guard get a medicine in the hospital. While Prof Nueva is having a low grade fever and requested an antipyretic medication and later went well and feel ok.
