| Navigating the shallow water towards Virgin Island |
Last year when we were in Panglao we discovered that they have a great Island Hopping tour. It packages the Island white sand attraction near in Panglao Island. Not to mention the dolphin watching if you got into good timing.

In the southern part of the island is called the Cat island. The local government make the island as a sanctuary of cats. Animals caught in the streets of Tagbilaran is sent to as their Alcatraz of cats.

When you view this island through Google earth it is like a half moon shape or crescent. This island is maintained by the local government of Pangalao. It has a part that is shallow that you can literally stand in the middle of the sea. That is why this place surrounding virgin island is rich in sea weeds that are being feed by Sea urchin and other living creatures leaving this area.

When your island hopping boat duck in the island, some vendors will offer their products. Most common thing that is sold was sea urchin. Vendors sell it for Php50/ 3 pcs of sea urchin. They open it for you and put this yellow like meat from the wall of the sea urchin. With it they usually put a mixture of vinegar and spicy herbs. Sea urchin is harvested daily nearby.
